This plane, manufactured in Slough, helped win the Battle of Britain. Share the story of the last time you flew – in a dream, in reality – who did you see and where did you go?

The Hurricane Hawker factory and airfield in Langley, Slough played an important part in Britain’s aviation history, both during and after the Second World War. Not only did it produce some of the world’s greatest fighter aircraft, it also helped herald in post war trans-Atlantic commercial air travel and the jet age.
